THE LIFE OF A GENIUS

Able to overcome the barriers of gender steriotypes, Sofia Kovalevskaya accomplished massive mathematic feats and discoveries in a time when women were not well respected in the area of education.  She rose above the challenges she faced, and because of this, her contributions to science have changed the world.

 

Many who have had an opportunity of knowing any more about mathematics confuse it with arithmetic, and consider it an arid science.  In reality, however, it is a science which requires a great amount of imagination.

Say what you know, do what you must, come what may.
